Ok i'll work on the two-way sort. I have a list of features that boggles the mind!! anyway, the application server that i use (mongrel) tends to leak memory and crash, so i wrote a process to check it every 10 minutes and restart it. i guess i'd better increase the frequency, because now it can be down for 9:59 before being restarted. or maybe restart it every night. who knows! thanks for the suggestions!!
