The great use of a life is to spend it for something that outlasts it.” -William James

It is a little late for New Years resolutions, but it is so important to stop thinking about oneself for a few minutes and stop being so damned selfish. I am always trying. There is this big wonderful world in front of us with so much to do and accomplish.  So much to do for other people. We, meaning myself and anyone else who might read this blog, lead such blessed lives overfull with comforts and convenience.

When life is so easy, why are people so selfish, competitive, catty,  proud, pretentious? Can’t you use your energy for something good? Go invent something, create some art, make another person happy, or teach someone a useful skill. Otherwise you’re a waste!!!!

Very true! I believe so much talent has already been wasted in this world and more people are continuing on that path.

Hah …. I’m not selfish … all I do is think of others :-\ Allright fine .. so you are sooo right. I wish everyone would stop and take a deep look at their lives to realize how good they have it. There are many less fortunate people in the world and people should, atleast once in their lifetime, think about sommeone else besides themselves.
